Photograph of the wind machine help.?
Wind machines are very expensive, so I've been looking at the fans for my fashion photography. Many people use a 18-inch floor fan, but one of these do: http://www.thereallyusefulstore.co.uk/product.php?product_id=143970&source=froogle I could get two, I just need to know if they would be powerful enough to dry the hair from 5 feet away? On the other hand, might get one those big industrial fans 24 inches? Younger children are much cheaper though. Any help would be appreciated:)
No. You need a fan blade diameter too large. I use a very old pair of floorstanding fans factory or workshop that I picked up at auction. They have a blade diameter of about four feet and the line I them one after the other. You also need a clear area behind the fan or air swirl and reduce the effect.
