Patton floor fan keeps stopping. Overheating?

I have a fan that keeps Patton standing off by itself. If I get to level 2 or 3 which runs for about 10 minutes then turns off. The engine feels very hot on the back and comes back on after about 5 minutes to your account. Any ideas? Engine shot? Thanks

Get some zoomoil at Ace Hardware. ($ 2) is non-flammable and used by people of all HVAC. A little at each end of the engine will do wonders. NOTE: WD-40 catches fire, do not use.
