swamp cooler or evaporation cooler uses water?
I have a swamp/evap cooler that uses water to produce cold air. But every time it runs out of water i have to use the hose to fill it up and its very annoying. It has a water hookup but i don't really want to hook it up. Are there any other ways besides having to hook it up.
There is no other way. The water hookup is supposed to have a float that shuts off the water automatically and stops it from overflowing in the bottom pan (just like the float in a toilet tank). Ace Hardware and Home depot sell these things for a few bucks - it isn't rocket science, takes about 20 minutes to install and it is way more convenient than filling up the thing manually.
