I need a COLD Fan?
Does anyone know of a regular style fan that blows cold air almost as cold as a portable AC? I am moving into a small travel trailer that sleeps six. The AC that is in the trailer doesn't run on the same voltage as everything else in the trailer and where I will be staying, it's not cost effective to wire it for 220 volts. I am looking for any ideas for a fan (such as Lasko or LG) that will keep the trailer cool enough for me to stay in there. Brookstone and Sharper Image used to carry these types of fans, but I haven't seen them recently. Any ideas? And please don't send stupid or hateful remarks about me living in a trailer.

Your solution depends on how much you want to spend and your available space. Here are some options you may want to consider. 1) If you have 110v available, use your existing AC with a step-up voltage transformer such as this http://www.voltageconverters.com/itemdesc.asp?CartId={9F465A55-AEEVERESTAC-4BE7-BF8D-E9C461628014}&ic=VC1000W . This transformer will convert standard 110v to 220v which your AC uses. You may need to buy an inexpensive adapter that converts your 220v plug to the transformer receptacle.
